Under 16s Warning Notices In Tobacco Retail Outlets (No.2)

That this House welcomes the implementation of the Children and Young Persons (Protection from Tobacco) Act 1991 as an essential protection for children from illegal cigarette sales; deplores the attempts of the tobacco industry to weaken the provisions of the Act by seeking to reduce the proposed size of the warning notice; and calls upon the Secretary of State to take note of the all party support that exists for the Act.
