Voter Registration In London Borough Of Brent

That this House notes the enormous discrepancy between the poll tax register in Brent of 190,000 and its draft electoral register for this year of 148,000, and the recent comments in the High Court that Brent Council has a case to answer 'regarding its methods of electoral registration'; and calls on the Home Secretary in the interests of democracy to conduct an inquiry into the electoral registration procedures in the London Borough of Brent.
