Insurance Cover For Losses From Terrorism

EDM number 1107 in 1992-93, proposed by Robert Parry on 16/12/1992.

That this House calls upon the President of the Board of Trade to have urgent discussions with the Association of British Insurers to discuss the implications of the expected withdrawal of insurance cover for terrorist activities on the British mainland; and notes that such withdrawal will have enormous implications, particularly to large departmental stores in city areas, which could lead to shop closures and large loss of jobs.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
