That this House welcomes the establishment of the Rajiv Gandhi (UK) Foundation and its launching at St. James's Palace on Wednesday 24th February 1993 by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales in the presence of Mrs Sonia Gandhi and His Excellency the High Commissioner for India, Dr L.M. Singhvi; considers that the Foundation is a suitable way to honour the memory of Rajiv Gandhi and the ideals he stood for; and believes that it will further the cause of strengthening Indo-British relations.
