Us Trade Ban On Cuba
EDM number 1538 in 1992-93, proposed by Colin Pickthall on 08/03/1993.
That this House notes that the United States continues to maintain a trade ban between itself and the state of Cuba; further notes that this trade ban includes the banning of the sale of medical supplies to Cuba by US companies; condemns the continuation of the trade ban on a country that presents no threat to the security of the US; believes that the ban on export of medical supplies is particularly offensive; and calls on the new US administration to restore trade links with Cuba.
