Homelessness In Rural Areas

That this House welcomes the report Homelessness in Rural Areas by the Rural Development Commission, and calls upon the Government to release restrictions on local authorities' capital funds to enable them to invest in new housing, renovation and conversion of existing stock and the provision of nil cost sites for housing associations and self-build groups in order to meet the escalating housing crisis in rural areas of the United Kingdom.
