MEMBERS' OFFICE ACCOMMODATION

EDM number 179 in 1992-93, proposed by Terry Rooney on 04/06/1992.

That this House condemns the totally arbitrary and archaic methods of allocating office accommodation leading inevitably to political patronage and favours; and therefore calls for a committee of the house to be formed of back-bench members to deal with allocations based on length of service, the only exceptions to be for people with disabilities.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
