That this House congratulates Glenafton F.C. on winning the Scottish Junior Cup for the first time and commends the committee and the management team, under Alan Rough, and all the players for their commitment and dedication and the people of New Cumnock for their loyal support; notes that this retains the Cup in South Ayrshire for a further year, thus continuing the great footballing tradition of this former mining area; but nevertheless also congratulates Tayport as gallant runners-up, an amazing achievement after only two years as a junior team.
