Ms Lindis Percy

EDM number 2321 in 1992-93, proposed by Max Madden on 14/07/1993.

That this House applauds the courage and dedication of the peace campaigner Lindis Percy, of Bradford; believes her campaigning has exposed the obscenity of nuclear weapons and annoyed and inconvenienced the defence establishment; deplores her imprisonment at Low Newton Remand Centre, Durham; notes a judge ordered the release of Ms Percy at 2 a.m., on Saturday 10th July; and wishes Ms Percy well in her campaign for peace and justice.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
