Conduct Of The Hon Member For Kingston-Upon-hull North;amdt. Line 1:

EDM number 2479A1 in 1992-93, proposed by DN Campbell-Savours on 20/10/1993.

leave out from 'House' to end and add 'commends the wise words of the honourable Member for Kingston upon Hull North in drawing attention to the fact that a decision to unilaterally abandon Articles 2 and 3 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland or section 75 of the Government of Ireland Act, which would cause confusion in the ranks of Northern Ireland's Nationalist and Unionist communities, respectively, would encourage terrorists purporting to act in the name of each community and would not help an achievement of peace and reconciliation amongst different communities; and recommends that honourable Members should not believe everything they read in the newspapers and should instead read and carefully digest the wise words of the honourable Member for Kingston upon Hull North contained in his Cork speech.'.

This is a ammendment to 2479.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
