That this House, mindful of the enthusiastic support of both farmers and environmentalists, and the urgent need to enhance the impact of the EC agri-environment proposals in the United Kingdom to match initiatives in other member states, calls on the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to given an explicit assurance that her statement on the expansion of environmentally sensitive areas, given on 26th March, will be implemented in full, without any dilution or delay.
