Hit And Run Victims And Their No Claim Bonuses

That this House notes that innocent victims of vehicles damaged by hit and run drivers under current law forfeit insurance no claim bonuses; regrets that in many cases this causes unnecessary financial difficulties to victims already suffering emotional grief or pain from accidents which were not their fault; and urges Her Majesty's Government to introduce legislation to alleviate this unfortunate and unnecessary problem.
