Atlantic Marine Mammal Commission

That this House condemns the nations which have formed the pro-whaling Atlantic Marine Mammal Commission; calls on Her Majesty's Government to convey, in the strongest possible terms, the widespread disgust of the British public at the continued slaughter of whales by those nations; urges consumers to boycott the products of whale-slaughtering nations; and further calls on the Prime Minister to raise the subject of whale conservation with the Japanese Prime Minister, Mr Kiichi Miyazawa, when he meets him in the week of 28th June.
