Operation Cardinal

EDM number 43 in 1992-93, proposed by Llew Smith on 12/05/1992.

That this House believes that the Royal Air Force extravaganza now happening over Wales called 'Operation Cardinal', comprising 800 low-flying sorties, is a waste if millions of pounds of taxpayers' money, puts human and animal life at risk, is militarily unnecessary and will cause great anxiety to the people of Mid Wales; and is astonished that the Royal Air Force continue to play out of date war games and attack mock-ups of Soviet tanks in spite of the ending of the Cold War.

This motion has been signed by a total of 31 MPs.
