EDM number 543 in 1992-93, proposed by Teddy Taylor on 24/09/1992.

That this House congratulates the United Nations General Assembly on its adoption of a resolution establishing an international register of conventional arms; and hopes that in due course further steps will enable the UN to limit arms sales, transfers and military procurement around the world, thus enhancing the prospects for lasting peace.
