Justice For British Nuclear Test Veterans

That this House notes that the study by the National Radiological Protection Board into the effects of radiatiosn on service personnel at British nuclear tests is to be published shortly; expresses its hope that it will be genuinely independent of government influences; notes that the Prime Minister, in a reply to the honourable Member for Paisley South, promised to consider sympathetically claims for compensation by nuclear test veterans on the evidence of this report; urges him to keep to his promise; and pledges to continue the campaign to achieve justice for these veterans, their widows and families, until it is won.
