That this House calls upon the honourable Member for Mid-Worcestershire, the Parliamentary Under Secretary at the Department for Education, not to attend the proposed meeting in Kidderminster Town Hall on 27th November called by the honourable Member for Wyre Forest to discuss ways in which various schools in Hereford and Worcester can best opt out of the local education service on the ground that the decisions of governors and parents will in due course come to his Department for a final decision; and believes it demeans the standards of conduct in public life if ministers are seen to be acting as judge, jury and prosecutor.
