That this House notes that United Distillers are not passing on to the consumer any of the Ãº6 million saving from their reduction in the alcoholic strength of Gordon's Gin; notes that while young people over 18 years may legally drink, the industry has undertaken only to use people over the age of 25 years in advertisements promoting alcohol sales; and views with alarm their intention to target advertising at young people.
