Conduct Of The Honourable Member For Bath

That this House notes that the honourable Member for Bath sought election on an anti-Tory platform; notes that before, during and after the debate on 4th November the Government made it clear that the issue was one of confidence; notes the damage being caused by government economic mismanagement, public expenditure cuts and the impending budget crisis facing Avon County Council; and therefore deplores the conduct of the honourable Member for Bath in voting for the survival of the discredited Conservative Government.
