Charity Pay Roll Giving And Honourable Members

EDM number 896 in 1992-93, proposed by Jeff Rooker on 19/11/1992.

That this House supports the Charity Pay Roll Scheme 'Give As You Earn' and commends the work of the Charities Aid Foundation in administering the scheme, but is disappointed to learn that only 41 Right honourable and honourable Members have taken the opportunity of joining up for the scheme operated by the Fees Office; and calls upon more Right honourable and honourable Members to set an example of supporting charities, particularly during this time of recession and when charity funding is under threat from the forthcoming National Lottery.

This motion has been signed by a total of 2 MPs.
