Resurgence Of The Jamate Islami In Bangladesh

That this House notes with great concern the resurgence of the extremist Jamate Islami in Bangladesh who were responsible for genocide, rape and arson during the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971; deplores the recent events in Raishahi, Chittagong and Islamic universities where the student wing of the Jamate Islami turned the educational institutions of Bangladesh into scences of bloodshed; and calls upon the Government of Bangladesh to ban the Jamate Islami without further delay.
