That this House congratulates the National Union of Teachers, Equity, the Musicians Union, the Royal Academy of Music, Music for Youth and the Music Advisers National Association for their organisation of Music for Life, the campaign for music and theatre education, pays tribute to these bodies and others, including the campaign's sponsors, the Commercial Union Organisation, for the work they have undertaken to argue the case for schools to be properly funded to provide peripatetic music teaching and theatre education services for children; believes that all children should have the right to benefit from the individual and cultural experience that such creative learning can bring; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to adequately fund music and arts services to all schools and the regional structures that support them.
