Cuts In Hill Livestock Compensatory Amounts

EDM number 238 in 1993-94, proposed by Dafydd Wigley on 13/12/1993.

That this House calls on the Government to reconsider the ú25 million cut in HLCA payments for the next financial year, to restore the cut of ú20 million in the current financial year and to make an urgent statement on the need to support agriculture in areas of Wales, where, because of weather and soil conditions, diversification into other areas of production is not possible.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
