Falkirk Referendum

EDM number 253 in 1993-94, proposed by Rachel Squire on 14/12/1993.

That this House notes that, of the 7,788 votes cast in the Falkirk Referendum, 88 per cent. were in favour of the establishment of a Scottish Parliament; recognises that this is further evidence of the demand in Scotland for home rule; and calls on the Government to respond to the democratic aspirations of the people of Scotland by establishing a Scottish Parliament.

This motion has been signed by a total of 23 MPs.
