Nationalist Russian Military Threat

EDM number 255 in 1993-94, proposed by Bill Walker on 14/12/1993.

That this House views with alarm the election of a large number of narrow nationalists to the Russian parliament; and notes that at the soon to be called presidential election, a narrow nationalist with new massive powers could be elected; calls upon the Government to acknowledge the real danger to peace such a result would bring; and further calls upon the Government to reverse the reduction in the United Kingdom military capability.
