RICHARD SPENDLOVE'S RADIO PROGRAMME

That this House requests that the BBC reinstate Richard Spendlove's Sunday evening programme on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, in view of its huge popularity with thousands of listeners who miss him immensely, particularly those elderly people who live alone, in view of the money raised for charity, in view of the two royal commendations and a National Newspaper Award, and in view of the help and advice regularly offered to listeners from numerous surrounding counties, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, as well as those in Cambridgeshire.
