That this House endorses the initiative of the Commission for Racial Equality and the Scottish Professional Footballers' Association in launching the Scottish 'Kick Racism out of Football' Campaign, supported by the Scottish Football Association, the Association of Chief Police Officers (Scotland), and those clubs which have so far committed themselves to the Campaign; further notes that racial abuse and prejudice have no part to play in football; recognises that only a small minority of supporters bring the game into disrepute; and commends the Scottish football clubs, players, supporters, football authorities and police who have shown by their actions and their participation that they are determined to ensure that football sets a shining example with clubs providing grounds that are safe and welcoming to all.
