West Dykebar & Local Government Reform

That this House notes that the honourable Member for Paisley South has consulted every household in the West Dykebar area about the proposal to include the area in the proposed East Renfrewshire Authority; further notes that the overwhelming majority of the residents there wish to be included in the local council area which will have jurisdiction over Paisley; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to accept the wishes of the people of West Dykebar.
