Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Of Caparo Group

That this House congratulates the Caparo Group and its Chairman and founder, Swraj Paul, on its 25th Anniversary; welcomes the presence of the Prime Minister at the lunch to commemorate this event in Huntingdon on 11th February; recognises that in 1991 the Group was awarded the Queen's Award to Industry for exports; notes this remarkable success story for British industry, which has created 3,500 new jobs over the last two decades in over a dozen different towns and cities in Britain; and further recognises the generosity of its Chairman, whose recent ú1 million donation to London Zoo for a new Children's Zoo will bring joy to so many millions of people in years to come.
