That this House deplores Her Majesty's Government's intention to impose VAT on contributions made to Wolverhampton Patients Aid and to other similar, non-profit making organisations nationwide which are entirely complementary to the National Health Service and continue to make large donations to the National Health Service from members surplus contributions; notes by way of comparison generous tax hand-outs for private medical treatment schemes; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to exempt from VAT members' contributions to Patient Aid organisations.
