Justice And Freedom For Cyprus

That this House welcomes the Prime Minister's assurances that terror and terrorism will not be rewarded by Her Majesty's Government; confirms its commitment to free Cyprus from the illegal occupation of Northern Cyprus by Turkey; calls for the 35,000 Turkish troops and the 100,000 Turkish settlers to be removed from the occupied territories; notes that Her Majesty's Government has so far failed to use its influence with the American administration and within the Security Council of the United Nations to initiate urgent negotiations, supervised by the United Nations Secretary General, to obtain justice and freedom for the people of Cyprus; and calls on them to do so immediately.
