leave out from 'House' to end and add 'deplores the past conduct of Her Majesty's Government concerning the allocation of British aid and the promotion of defence related contracts in other countries; confirms that Her Majesty's Government's incompetence and not the actions of the honourable Member for Christchurch are the real cause of the difficulties in Britain's trading relations with Malaysia; and calls upon all honourable Members to reject party point-scoring and oppose any attempt by the Government to link overseas aid programmes with bartering for arms deals.'.
