Glasgow Evening Times

That this House congratulates the Editor and staff of the Glasgow Evening Times on their expose of the increasing tax burden wrought upon Scottish families as a consequence of Tory Government policy; notes the considerable variance between the reality of Tory policy and the easy promises made by the Tories immediately before the 1992 general election; and calls upon the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer to admit to the failure of the policies and to make a full apology to the Scottish people.
