President Clinton And The Bomb Massacre In Oklahoma City

EDM number 1012 in 1994-95, proposed by Nicholas Winterton on 20/04/1995.

That this House shares the sorrow, the horror and the anger of the people of the United States of America at the callous and cowardly slaying of so many children, women and men in the bomb massacre in Oklahoma City; reaches out to them the hand of friendship and support in the hour of their desolution and their loss and joins them in their grief; endorses unequivocally the condemnation of this vile deed by President Clinton and pledges all its support to the American people in making good their President's commitment that justice should be 'swift and severe' for people who 'are killers and must be treated like killers'; and only regrets that in recent months President Clinton has given credibility to terrorists and their apologists in Sinn Fein, who have been responsible for the deaths of so many innocent men, women and children in Northern Ireland.
