Baby Care Unit At Leicester Royal Infirmary

EDM number 1142 in 1994-95, proposed by Keith Vaz on 17/05/1995.

That this House expresses great concern over the inadequate staffing levels at the Unit for Critically ill Babies at Leicester Royal Infirmary; is outraged that these infants are having to be transferred to other hospitals, some as far away as Cambridge, in order to receive medical care; calls for an immediate investigation into this outrageous situation; and urges the Secretary of State to provide whatever funding is needed to the hospital trust to bring this unacceptable situation to a rapid conclusion.

This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
