Conduct Of The Honourable Member For Teignbridge

That this House notes the appalling attack on the people of France and Germany in the Western Morning News of 23rd November, calling the French a nation of collaborators and Germany's main contribution in Europe to be starting two world wars, by the honourable Member for Teignbridge; notes that he expressed these xenophobic views whilst Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party; welcomes his resignation from his post in that party; and calls on him similarly to resign his seat so that this House is no longer damaged by these miserable remarks.
