Former Yugoslavia And German Troops

EDM number 1249 in 1994-95, proposed by Harry Cohen on 14/06/1995.

That this House does not support the suggestion that German troops be sent to the former Yugoslavia; considers that their presence in the region would be counter-productive bearing in mind German troops' last activity there; also notes that such a decision would mark the beginning of new German military activity in former German occupied countries; and urges the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary to suggest to the German government that it desists from sending troops.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
