Mrs Saroj Acharya

That this House, noting that Mrs Saroj Acharya of Leicester, who entered this country on May 1990, who has been given a national insurance number, pays taxes, works in Leicester and owns her own home, has been allowed to remain in the United Kingdom; further notes that the Home Office refuse to allow visas for husband and son whom she has not seen since 1990, to visit her, and will not grant Mrs Acharya travel documents in order to visit her family in India; and urges the Government to treat Mrs Acharya humanely and allow her access to her family.
