West Anglia Great Northern Railway (Wagn) Facilities For Taxis

EDM number 1406 in 1994-95, proposed by Anne Campbell on 13/07/1995.

That this House condemns the action by West Anglia Great Northern Railway (WAGN) in raising charges by 140 per cent. for taxi drivers using the cab rank on the railway station forecourt in Cambridge; and believes that this is not in the interest of the travelling public and that privatisation plans are causing WAGN to be more concerned about profit than about public service.

This motion has been signed by a total of 27 MPs.
