Cambuslang Post Office

That this House deplores the refusal of Post Office Counters Ltd. to consult the public of Cambuslang over its decision to downgrade the status of Cambuslang Post Office to that of an agency; regards the decision as creeping privatisation of the Post Office with consequent detrimental effects on the service offered to the public and the wages and conditions of Post Office employees; and calls on Post Office Counters Ltd. to recognise the status of the largest village in Scotland and retain full post office facilities in Cambuslang.
