Conduct Of The Honourable Member For Harborough And Copex

That this House is appalled that COPEX (the Covert and Operational Procurement Exhibition), now exhibiting at Sandown Race Course in Esher, has issued a writ for libel against eight individuals named in the Campaign Against the Arms Trade Newsletter; notes that one of the eight lives in the constituency of the honourable Member for Harborough, who is acting for COPEX against the defendants and whose name appears in the statement of claim; and calls on the honourable Member to disassociate himself from this action to avoid a conflict of interest.
