Free Worship And Planning Law

EDM number 1591 in 1994-95, proposed by Rhodes Boyson on 07/11/1995.

That this House continues to cherish freedom of worship of all the great religions; respects the Hindu community within the United Kingdom; and regrets that the prosecuting authorities were insensitive enough to proceed with a prosecution in relation to planning law at a time when the resolution of a planning application in relation to the relevant site was pending.
