That this House congratulates the Scottish Old Age Pensioners Association and others in the United Kingdom for their campaign against the Government's proposals to increase VAT on domestic fuel; welcomes the fact that through their efforts the Government was defeated; and believes that their leaflets, petitions and lobby of Parliament prove that grey power when united and organised can be successful.
