Hill Livestock Compensatory Allowances

EDM number 275 in 1994-95, proposed by Eddie McGrady on 14/12/1994.

That this House calls upon the Government to recognise the on-going financial plight of farmers whose enterprises are located in designated less favoured areas and to immediately stop the erosion of hill livestock compensatory allowances, and moreover, reverse the decline by restoring hill livestock compensatory allowance rates to 1992-93 levels.

This motion has been signed by a total of 23 MPs.
