Mercenaries In Angola
EDM number 393 in 1994-95, proposed by Andrew Hunter on 17/01/1995.
That this House condemns the Angolan Government's use of mercenaries supplied by the South African-based company Executive Outcomes in continuing the civil war in Angola; notes the contradiction between the South African Government's failure to curb the activities of Executive Outcomes and its professed support for peace in Angola; and urges Her Majesty's Government to express concern about these issues to the South African Government.
