That this House notes the report that Chris Evans will be paid more than ú1 million for less than nine months part-time work; expects the Right honourable Member for Dunfermline East to utter public criticism for a rate of payment higher than chairmen and managing directors of many of the largest British employers and wealth generators; and calculates that when the tax rate was of 98 pence in the pound an extra ú100,000 left ú2,000 in the pocket or purse.
