Visit Of President Clerides Of Cyprus

That this House, on the occasion of the visit of President Clerides of Cyprus, reaffirms its full support for his endeavours to implement the confidence building measures and to achieve a bizonal, bicommunal federal solution to the Cyprus problem; and further reaffirms its full support for the application of Cyprus for full membership of the European Union without such a solution being made a precondition of entry. (Relevant registered interest declared)
