Religious Discrimination Against Teachers

EDM number 777 in 1994-95, proposed by Ian Paisley on 13/03/1995.

That this House deplores the biased and sectarian advertisement placed in the local Belfast press for the post of a religious education teacher for Braidside Integrated Primary School seeking a teacher with 'ability to teach Roman Catholic religious education'; and recognises this advertisement as blatant discrimination against the Protestant teaching profession.
