Nhs Spending Priorities

EDM number 785 in 1994-95, proposed by Jimmy Dunnachie on 13/03/1995.

That this House deplores the huge increases in spending within the NHS on management and administration while at the same time nursing and other vital services have been cut back; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to channel NHS funding into services which will directly improve the quality of patient care rather than into the provision of an increased bureaucracy within the NHS.

This motion has been signed by a total of 33 MPs.
