Ban On Use Of Depo-Medrone In Epidural Injections
EDM number 789 in 1994-95, proposed by Jimmy Dunnachie on 13/03/1995.
That this House is appalled at the widespread use of the drug Depo-Medrone in epidural injections, given that the drug is not approved for this purpose and given the horrific side-effects it can produce, many of which are not explained to patients prior to the epidural being administered; and demands therefore that Her Majesty's Government takes immediate steps to ban the use of Depo-Medrone for epidural purposes.
